          Deprecated. as of 3.3 use TemplateTranslator.createVariable(TemplateVariableType, String, int[]) instead

          Hook method to create new variables.
  TemplateVariable[] TemplateBuffer. getVariables ()
          Returns the variable positions of the template buffer.
