 interface IJavaFieldVariable
          A variable that contains the value of an instance or class variable.
 

Methods in org.eclipse.jdt.debug.core that return IJavaVariable
  IJavaVariable IJavaThread. findVariable ( String variableName)
          Returns a variable with the given name, or null if unable to resolve a variable with the name, or if this thread is not currently suspended.
  IJavaVariable IJavaStackFrame. findVariable ( String variableName)
          Returns the local, static, or "this" variable with the given name, or null if unable to resolve a variable with the name.
  IJavaVariable IJavaDebugTarget. findVariable ( String variableName)
          Searches for and returns a variable with the given name, or null if unable to resolve a variable with the name.
  IJavaVariable[] IJavaStackFrame. getLocalVariables ()
          Returns a collection of local variables that are visible at the current point of execution in this stack frame.
