OpenOffice Writer

OpenOffice Writer can be used for a variety of tasks including business letters, documentation and desktop publishing. Flexible layout and design options support multicolumn newsletters and brochures. Indexing can be used for bibliographical and index entries and for keywords. It can also be used for the generation of indexes and reference tables (such as a table of contents). Groupware features include support for collaboration with others on the same document, while keeping track of changes. Export to HTML provides a simple mechanism to create web sites with hyperlinks, frames, and image maps.
