3.7.  Copy

The Copy command makes a copy of the current selection and stores it in the Clipboard. The information can be recalled using the Paste, Paste Into, or Paste As New commands. If there is no selection, the entire current layer is copied. “Copy” only works on the current active layer. Any layers above or below it are ignored.

3.7.1.  Activate the Command

  • You can access this command from the image menubar through EditCopy,

  • or by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C.
