Importing a Connection Profile

Import one or more connection profiles into the current workspace.

You might import a connection profiile if you created connection profiles in a previous version of DTP and want to reuse them in the current version of DTP, or want to share a common set of connection profiles across a workgroup.

  1. In Data Source Explorer, click Import Connection Profile button Import.
  2. Enter the fully qualified path to the connection profile file, or click Browse.
  3. (Optional) Click Overwrite Existing Connection Profiles with Same Names.
  4. Click OK.

    The connection profile appears under its data source category.
