GtkProgressBar is a flexible
progress bar widget. It can display text over the
progress bar, and has an "activity" mode to indicate
"activity, but unknown total task size." In "activity"
mode a small block moves back and forth. GtkProgressBar is probably excessively
configurable; you should try to use its default
look-and-feel, for consistency with other applications.
