1.9 Moving Text Between Applications

To copy text between applications, select the text, then move the mouse cursor to the position where you want the text copied. Click the center button on the mouse or the scroll wheel to copy the text.

When copying information between programs, you must keep the source program open and paste the text before closing it. When a program closes, any content from that application that is on the clipboard is lost.
